- 1 cup fresh strawberries  hulled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (approximately 4-6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 4 cup cold water
- Ice cubes as you need
- Fresh basil leaves and lemon slices  for garnish
- Blend fresh strawberries and lemon juice until smooth, then strain to remove any seeds or pulp.
