Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups
  • spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Frozen Peach Slices
  • ½ cup Milk dairy or unsweetened plant-based like almond or oat milk
  • ¼ cup Plain or Vanilla Greek Yogurt or a dairy-free alternative
  • ¼ cup Rolled Oats Old-Fashioned, not instant
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • teaspoon Nutmeg a small pinch
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Optional for extra creaminess/sweetness: ½ small Frozen Banana
  • Optional Sweetener: 1-2 teaspoons Maple Syrup or to taste if peaches/banana aren't very sweet
  • Garnish Optional: Sprinkle of cinnamon, a few rolled oats, a fresh peach slice

Instructions

  • Combine Ingredients: Pour the milk into your blender first. Add the rolled oats, yogurt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
  • Add Fruit: Add the frozen peach slices and the optional frozen banana.
  • Blend Until Silky Smooth: Secure the blender lid. Start on a low speed, then increase to high. Blend for 60-90 seconds, until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy. The oats should be fully incorporated.
  • Check Consistency & Taste: Pause the blender and taste. If it's too thick, add another splash of milk and blend briefly. If it's not sweet enough for your liking, add your optional sweetener and blend again.
  • Serve Immediately: Pour into a chilled glass. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a fresh peach slice and enjoy your dessert in a glass!

Notes

Frozen Peaches are Best: They provide the ideal thick, cold, and creamy texture without needing to add ice, which can dilute the flavor.
Don't Skip the Spices: The cinnamon and nutmeg are essential for achieving that authentic "cobbler" flavor.
Blend Well: Give the blender enough time (at least 60 seconds) to fully break down the rolled oats for the smoothest possible texture.
