Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 3-4 teaspoons loose green tea (preferably gunpowder tea)
  • 1 bunch fresh mint leaves
  • Sugar to taste

Instructions
 

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a teapot or saucepan
  • Allow the water to cool for about 2 minutes after boiling.
  • Add 3-4 teaspoons of loose green tea to the pot.
  • Wash and gently bruise a bunch of fresh mint leaves to release their flavor.
  • Add the bruised mint leaves to the pot with the green tea.
  • Allow the tea to steep for 3-4 minutes, being careful not to over-steep.
  • While the tea is steeping, prepare your serving glasses.
  • Strain the tea into the glasses to remove the tea leaves and mint leaves.
  • Serve hot and enjoy the refreshing taste of Moroccan Mint Tea!
