Equipment

  • Blender: A good quality blender is essential for smoothly incorporating moringa powder and breaking down other ingredients.
  • Measuring Spoons and Cups
  • Serving glass

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 tsp moringa leaf powder
  • one small frozen banana or 1/2 large
  • 1/2 - 1 cup fruit of choice e.g., mango, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries - fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup liquid of choice e.g., almond milk, coconut water, water
  • Optional:
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1/4 avocado
  • handful of spinach
  • 1 tbsp chia/flax seeds
  • small piece of ginger
  • squeeze of lemon/lime juice
  • sweetener to taste maple syrup, date.

Instructions
 

  • Add liquid to the blender first.
  • Add moringa powder, any fresh fruits/greens, and optional boosters.
  • Add frozen fruits last.
  • Process on full speed until the mixture is completely smooth and of bright green color.(30-60 seconds).
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or consistency if needed (add more liquid if too thick, or more frozen fruit if too thin).
  • Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

  • Use high-quality, vibrant green moringa powder.
  • Balance moringa's earthy flavor with sweet fruits like banana, mango, or pineapple.
  • Start with 1/2 - 1 tsp of moringa if you're new to it.
