  • 3/4 - 1 cup 6-8 oz / 180-240ml milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • Sweetener to taste e.g., 1-2 tsp simple syrup, honey, maple syrup - optional
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Sift matcha powder into a bowl.
  • Add hot water and whisk vigorously (with a bamboo whisk in a 'W' or 'M' motion) until smooth, frothy, and no clumps remain, forming a paste.
  • Stir sweetener into the matcha paste if using.
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour in milk.
  • Gently pour the prepared matcha mixture over the milk and ice.
  • Stir well, taste, adjust if needed, and enjoy immediately!
