- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon  vanilla extract (optional)
- To make syrup, boil coconut sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir occasionally to thicken the mixture and simmer over low heat for 5 to 7 minutes. 
- After heating, remove the mixture from the heat source and add vanilla extract if you use it. Then, could you give it a good stir? 
- Letting the mixture cool to room temperature before transferring it to a jar or bottle for storage is important. 
- To ensure freshness, kindly store the item in the refrigerator. It is recommended to consume within two weeks of opening.
